SNAP has asked Pennsylvania’s congressional delegation to support new funding for the CARES Act Provider Relief Fund, the elimination of scheduled Medicaid DSH cuts, and the continued suspension of Medicare sequestration cuts in any legislation Congress passes in the coming weeks.

SNAP has asked members of Pennsylvania’s congressional delegation to urge the Department of Health and Human Services to restore its June 2020 directions on how hospitals should calculate lost revenue associated with COVID-19 so they can keep federal aid designed to help them continue serving their communities.

SNAP has written to the Pennsylvania congressional delegation asking its members to urge congressional leaders to eliminate a cut in federal Medicaid DSH allotments to the states.

SNAP asked members of PA’s congressional delegation to sign a bipartisan letter to Health and Human Services Secretary Azar asking the Secretary to prevent pharmaceutical companies from denying access to discounted prescription drugs made available through the federal section 340B prescription drug discount program.

SNAP has endorsed a U.S. House proposal to delay implementation of the Medicaid fiscal accountability regulation. If implemented, that regulation could affect access to care for some of the 2.8 million Pennsylvanians currently enrolled in Medicaid.
